I was born in Decatur, Illinois on January 9, 1954. The second photo is of the first house I lived in after I was born. In the summer of 1954 my family and I moved to Wheaton, Illinois. The third photo is of the house my parents bought there.

In 1966 my family and I moved to Arlington Heights, Illinois. The first photo below is of the house my parents bought there. Though I was always interested in art, I began to work hard at it in high school and then majored in art education at Northern Illinois University (see my artwork).

After college days I landed a job as an art teacher at Wheeling High School. On March 6, 1977 I turned to the Lord Jesus and was born of His Spirit. I taught art two years and then began my career in land surveying and civil engineering. In 1979 Kathy and I married. We had some wonderful good years in Palatine where we lived until we moved out to California in 1986. We have lived in California ever since.
